Terms & Conditions
REFUND POLICY
All memberships, class packs, drop-in classes and class credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Special events such as workshops, showcases and camps are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Classes missed due to traffic, illness or inclement weather etc. are included in this policy.
House of Pole reserves the right to amend the timetable at any time and to cancel any classes which don't meet minimum required numbers to run. In the event that the customer is booked onto a class that gets cancelled, the class credit will be returned to the customer’s account and they can book into an alternative class. House of Pole Ireland will do the utmost to minimise class cancellations and schedule disruptions.
BOOKING POLICY
All classes are subject to a 24 hour cancellation policy. Classes purchased as a "drop-in" single use class, special events such as workshops, and credits from class packs and memberships are included in this policy.
The 24-hour cancellation window means, if the customer is booked onto a class, they need to give 24 hours notice in order to rearrange the class and recover the credit. Any late cancellations (those within 24 hours of the class start time) will result in the credit being forfeited.
To rearrange a class, the customer must first unregister from the class they originally booked and then book an alternative class that better suits. This can be done by the customer if there are more than 24 hours between the deregistration and the start time of the class. It is not necessary to immediately book into another class. Rebooking can be done at a later time as long as it is within the month for which the credits were purchased.
It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure they purchase the correct membership/class pass(es) and book the correct classes.
House of Pole Ireland reserves the right to amend the timetable at any time including scheduling a closure period over Christmas. The studio is a changeable environment due to the nature of the work so timetable changes are inevitable. House of Pole Ireland will always strive to do its utmost in notifying you of any changes as soon as possible.
By making a purchase with House of Pole Ireland the customer affirms that they have read and agreed to the above policies and our full Terms and Conditions. House of Pole Ireland reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS
As well as all policies outlined above, the following terms and conditions will apply to all monthly memberships purchased with House Of Pole Ireland which are based on a subscription model.
These memberships entitle the customer to join a prescribed number of classes according to the membership type chosen e.g. 4, 8 or 12, in the named studio per month. The customer is required to book their own classes according to their own preferences.
On this monthly membership, the customer will be billed by direct debit every month on the same calendar date that the purchase was made. They will then have 1 month in which to use their class credits. Any unused credits after the end of the month may not be carried over or refunded.
This membership requires a minimum 3-month commitment and has a 28-day notice period for cancellation or downgrade of the membership. The customer must give 28 days' notice via email if they wish to cancel or downgrade their membership after the mandatory period of 3 months has elapsed. Incomplete/prorated months do not count towards the 3 month total.
Any benefits that are associated with this membership are not included in the customer’s purchase. They are entirely at the discretion of House of Pole Ireland and can be rescinded or discontinued at any time.
Upgrades & Downgrades & Studio Change
The customer may contact us via email in order to upgrade/downgrade their membership plan. For upgrades, it can be decided by the customer whether it will come into effect immediately (i.e. the customer will pay now and reap the benefits of extra credits for the remainder of the month) the upgrade can be scheduled to coincide with the next payment date, so it will be a single payment and the customer will get all of their credits together.
Downgrades are treated as cancellations and require a 28-day notice period to come into effect.
The customer can change the membership from one studio location to the other by emailing House of Pole Ireland. Alternatively, customers can upgrade to a Dual-Studio Membership which costs an extra €10 per month and allows the customer to use their class credits between both studios.
Holidays & Pausing Memberships
House of Pole Ireland does not allow for pausing memberships. The best way to handle holidays is either, to use up the credits on the weeks of the month that the customer is present, or to cancel the membership in advance of a long holiday (with minimum 28 days’ notice as outlined above).
Failed Autopays & Late Payments
As House of Pole Ireland uses software and banking systems to make class and membership system possible, a €10 fee for late payments and/or failed autopays will be incurred. Late payments or failed autopays will be charged at €10 per transaction and a €20 fee will be added to any payment that is past 10 days due. This is to cover the penalties imposed on House of Pole by the banking system for failed transactions.
Members Only Discounts
Members Only discount codes are for use by current members only. Should the customer end their membership, any discount codes which apply to members cannot be used after the date of membership expiration. Any members only discount codes used by non-members are liable to repay the difference, or to have their booking cancelled.
CLASS PACKS
As well as all policies outlined above, the following terms and conditions will apply to all class pack memberships purchased with House Of Pole Ireland which are based on a pay-as-you-go model.
These memberships are packs of prescribed number of class credits which entitle the customer to join classes over a 4 week period in the named studio. The customer is required to book their own classes according to their own preferences.
This membership will be billed once and will expire 4 weeks after the registration of the first class. This membership is valid for the four week period following the registration of the first class only. Any unused credits after this period has elapsed may not be carried over or refunded.
DROP IN/ SINGLE CLASS PASSES
Single class passes are subject to the same cancellation policy as groups of credits purchased via memberships. These single class passes are non-refundable but cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice will result in the class credit being applied to the customer’s account balance on TeamUp.
COURSES
Please note course start and end dates, (as well as class start and end times) as the course dates may include Public Holidays and/or Bank Holidays.
Courses are non-refundable and non-transferable. Missed classes/course sessions cannot be carried over past the course finish date or refunded. If the customer cannot attend an individual class, +24 hours notice is required for House of Pole Ireland to attempt to accommodate the customer in a mixed level class (eg: Flexibility training). House of Pole Ireland cannot guarantee availability for make-up classes.
PRIVATE/GROUP CLASSES/HEN PARTY
Group lessons and hen parties require a 50% non-refundable deposit when booking. The rest of the payment will be due up to a week before the date that the class is booked for.
Private lessons may be subject to a non-refundable deposit with the rest of the payment due before the class commences.
If the client is a no-show or arrives late to a private or group lesson, they are not entitled to a full or partial refund and the session will not be rescheduled.
If House of Pole needs to reschedule a private or group lesson, the client will be offerde a full refund or an alternative date/time.
